Haitians have endured several natural catastrophes and been left to live a life of chronic poverty. Several international donors have provided aid in troubled times, and many past efforts have been made to improve living conditions. However, these measures have failed to turn around Haiti’s fortune. It’s time that Haitians—including the Haitian Diaspora living abroad—took matters into their own hands.
Haitians need to set aside their differences and come together to lay the foundation for an effective action plan. At Movement Patriotic des Haitiens Conscients, we are on a mission to rectify the disengagement and lack of involvement of the Haitians and the Haitian Diaspora in the social problems affecting the country. Through a concerted effort targeting Haitians across the globe, we want to bring about a fundamental change in the governance of the social structure problems that are impeding Haiti’s development.

Despite its grueling past and overwhelming economic limitations, Haiti has the potential to achieve economic prosperity. But first, Haitians will need to put aside their difference and come together for a common goal of ensuring a prosperous future for Haiti and its citizens. A cohesive plan that promotes nationalism by utilizing shared ideologies is needed to make this happen.
At Movement Patriotic des Haitiens Conscients, we are committed to helping Haitians improve their quality of life. We believe this will only be possible when Haitians across the globe join hands to make Haiti the country that is deserves to be.
We are on a mission to make this happen through a new approach towards addressing the social structure problems impeding Haiti’s development. We prioritize equality, humanity, and morality above all; we believe that these three things need to be at the forefront of a new development path for Haiti that is based human well-being and not economic growth.
OUR VISION
A cloud of uncertainty has always hovered over Haitians, which has impeded the social and economic development of the country. Additionally, Haiti continues to be highly vulnerable to natural catastrophes, especially earthquakes, floods, and hurricanes. With so many challenges facing the country, the last thing we want is for Haitians—within the country and abroad—to be disconnected from each other.
Movement Patriotic des Haitiens Conscients is compelled by its nationalist duties and a deep sense of patriotism to take responsibility for a better future for Haiti and Haitians. We fulfill this responsibility by harnessing a patriotic mindset amongst the Haiti diaspora. Additionally, we look to prioritize the opinions and suggestions of community leaders to get everyone working together towards a sustainable solution for governance, accountability, and systematic change in Haiti.

Haiti needs to have in place a strategy that gets the backing of all stakeholders and can engage all citizens—both within the country and abroad. More importantly, it should encourage Haitians to come together, putting differences and political affiliations aside, for the economic and social betterment of the country.
Cooperation and strategic alliance between different groups and segments of society and with Haiti’s well-wishers in the region and across the globe can help to transform the country. With this is mind, Movement Patriotic des Haitiens Conscients aspires to take on a role that unites the Haitian Diaspora and gets them working together towards a common objective.
That objective is the welfare and betterment of Haitians everywhere to bring about a positive change in the Haiti’s economic, political and human development. We believe that cooperation and coordination between Haitians is the first and most important step towards a prosperous future that Haiti most certainly deserves.

OUR GUIDING BELIEFS
Although efforts are ongoing to improve social services and public utilities, much remains to be accomplished to ensure the economic prosperity of Haiti. Everyone from the government to private-sector organizations to educationists to the media to the citizens and the diaspora abroad needs to do more to foster a positive change in the economic, social, and human development conditions of the country.
At Movement Patriotic des Haitiens Conscients, we are playing our part by making efforts to bring about a fundamental change in the governance of the social structure problems that are impeding Haiti’s development. Our aim is to harness a patriotic mindset amongst the Haiti diaspora and utilize the opinions and suggestions of community leaders to get everyone working together towards a sustainable solution for governance, accountability, and systematic change in Haiti. Our every action is guided by the following beliefs:
- Haiti needs to take control of its future
- Haiti needs to be self-sufficient
- Haiti needs to have a system in place that encourages stakeholders and engages citizens for the betterment of the country
- All Haitians need to set aside their differences and build trust in each other for the greater good of the country
- All Haitians have the right to be educated
- All Haitians have the right to medical and social care
- All Haitians deserve to be respected and heard
Staying true to these beliefs, we look to encourage and facilitate cooperation and strategic alliance between different groups and segments of society and with Haiti’s well-wishers in the region and across the globe to help transform the country.
